There we are. At last. Our site is now available in Spanish, thanks to Anahi. As we've been making lots of promising contacts with Spanish-speakers, it was sort of "a duty" for us to have a Spanish version of our site so as to be accessible to more people (and peoples). When we say "more", we do mean "more", like a few hundreds of millions of surfers del mundo hispano!

Official Launch of Noche Flamenca! Ole!

Alright. After an intense and exceptional collaboration with Martin, the co-founder and Artistic Director of Noche Flamenca, and with Jon, their agent, we are proud to let it be know that www.nocheflamenca.com is live, and in great shape!
We are superfond of flamenco, so it was a real pleasure to put our heart and guts into this project.

Happy to contribute to Normand Vanasse's new CD

Normand Vanasse is an acclaimed flamenco guitarist in the province of Québec. It happens that we met in a "Peña flamenca" (Flamenco concert), and we kept in touch, and we pursued this to aJazz duo where we explore Jazz standards in depth. Anyway, he releases a CD this summer, and I was more than happy to help him work on generating PDF's of his musical compositions, to be put on a data track of the CD. Those who'll buy the CD will have a chance to read the musical sheet written from the hand (and mouse!) of the composer in person! This owed me a credit in the CD booklet, of which I'm both moved and proud...

First peña in Montreal

Amigos, this is just the beginning of this blog. They give a Flamenco gathering/concert every first Sunday of the month at La place à côté. It's really good. I terribly enjoyed Normand Vanasse's musical moments. More than a concert, that was an exchange. Looks to me that Normand is a musician who goes beyond music. Does it make sense? Does it make more sense if I speak of spiritual path? Or esoterism? Or depth? I'll be back to next peña. Every month, if I can.
